To help one of the largest health systems in the Northeast – Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) – better visualize their complete medical device inventory of more than 50,000 devices, Impact Advisors developed a prototype for a robust data analytics toolkit for Clinical Engineering (CE). This decision support tool allows any authorized LVHN user to instantly view any or all characteristics of a single device or category of devices, at any location, for any manufacturer, etc. We built the tool in a manner such that as the health system’s new asset management system is populated with good data, our underlying database will update every CE view in real-time, with minimal to no manual intervention required.
